UBELONG experiences form strong bonds among participants. Last Saturday night about 15 UBELONG alumni and loved ones gathered for dinner and drinks to reconnect, reminisce over shared experiences and have some fun. They were joined by UBELONG co-founders Cedric Hodgeman and Raul Roman.

The discussions were lively and reminded us how UBELONG trips can be life-changing. Already, some UBELONG alumni who attended are planning their return to the field while others have re-routed their careers and lives because of what they learned and experienced during their placement. As UBELONG alumnus Jeffrey Smythe notes, “The UBELONG experience can be life changing. It brings you out of your comfort zone and lets you meet so many amazing new people.”

UBELONG is the fastest growing international volunteering organization in the world. There are over one thousand proud and enthusiastic alumni spread across the globe. Cedric Hodgeman notes, "We're humbled to be part of the UBELONG community. It's a group of individuals, the cream of the crop, who come from very diverse backgrounds but are united by their passion to give back, travel and live life to the fullest by volunteering abroad."
